About Me!
Hey there, I’m Huy, a Vietnamese high-school student studying abroad in Singapore. Welcome to my little corner on the Internet!
I initially wanted to start this blog to work on my creative writing skills (college application essays 😱) and share my thoughts on running, which — just like my to-do list — I have an intense love/hate relationship with.
And there will definitely be a lot of running content here: My race experiences, insights into running, the people I have met and admire, and of course, embarrassing running stories—for which there is a limitless supply! Whether you are a serious runner going through my route reviews, a fellow runner looking to connect in our shared pursuit of intrusive, unhinged thoughts during races, a future me dying of cringe, or a curious passer-by, there should be something for you here!
But I have quickly realized that I want to write about many things other than running. I also play basketball; I am one of the biggest sci-fi nerds you will EVER meet; I have a deep passion for the environment; and I love hip-hop. But I am also just trying to survive adolescence and high school; juggle between schoolwork, extracurriculars, and a balanced life; navigate my relationships; and find a true meaning to life when I have lived for barely one-fifth of my life.
This blog is a mix of all of that. It’s messy and real and probably a little all over the place, kind of like me. I don’t have all the answers — honestly, I barely have all my homework done — but writing helps me think. And maybe, if you’re reading this, something here will help you think too.
Thanks for being here. Hope you will stick around!
